REBRANDING

CLIENTS: International Rescue Committee & Spice Kitchen Incubator

MY ROLE: Brand & Graphic Design

 

While living in Salt Lake City, I became a volunteer for IRC, which provides relief for international refugees and their families.

The Spice Kitchen Incubator tasked me with rebranding a refugee-owned Thai restaurant that was under abusive rules from their franchisor.

The final logo had a lot of input from the restaurant's owners, who came from a small village in Northern Thailand. The logo mark was vectorized from a carved wooden object brought from their village. 

Side note, their dishes are spectacular! If you are ever in Salt Lake City, stop by for lunch.
